Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After eating breakfast at the Hotel and collecting your picnic lunch boxes you will be driven to Tarangire National Park for the game viewing, a distance of two hours. Tarangire Park is situated within Tanzania’s spectacular Manyara Region. Is an awe-inspiring National Park comprising of granite ridges, river valleys, mixed vegetation landscape and free roaming wildlife. During the annual dry season, the Tarangire river is a magnet for thirsty wildlife such as large herds of Elephants, migratory Wildebeests, Zebras, Buffaloes, Gazelles, Elands etc. In this Park, Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards are the common animals to spot. Tarangire is also the one place in Tanzania where dry country Antelopes such as Oryx, greater and lesser Kudu, Gerenuk are seen regularly. This expensive area is also known for its spectacular Baobab trees. One of the longest living trees here is about eight hundred years old.

Tarangire National Park to Central Serengeti

Tarangire National Park to Central Serengeti

After eating breakfast and collecting your picnic lunch boxes, you will head to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a four and a half hours drive. There will be a picnic stop on the way. Serengeti is well known for its largest annual animal migration in the World - over 1.5 million (GNU) Wildebeests and 1 million zebras along with smaller herds of Thomson’s gazelles. The National Park is also home to the largest Lion population in Africa. The rich Acacia dotted plains of the central, western and northern Serengeti are home to abundant wildlife from African largest Mammals down to the smallest Antelopes, the Dick Dick.

Day 4

You will go for the early morning game viewing which will start at 06:00am This will be done using a private Land cruiser with a pop-up roof. At 08:30am you will go back to the Camp. After eating breakfast and collecting your picnic lunch boxes, you will proceed with game drives until 17:00 hours then return back to the Camp.

Day 5

You will eat breakfast at the Camp around 07:00am. After collecting your picnic lunch boxes you will be heading to South Serengeti where you will get chance to visit Maasai Rocky paintings, Ng’ong Rocky and beautiful Kopjes. These are results of rock outcrops around the area. After visiting this area you will proceed to South Serengeti and Ngorongoro. During February and March, visitors flock this area to view the World’s famous Wildebeests migration. This area has the best game viewing location for this migration.

After eating breakfast and collecting your picnic lunch boxes, you will be heading to Ngorongoro Crater for a tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is best known for its natural beauty and abundance of diversity wildlife. This UNESCO-listed Crater is said to be the World largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater is surrounded by Tanzania’s highlands. It one of the Africa’s most popular safari destinations. It’s famed as one of Tanzania best tourists’ attraction offering visitors wonderful activities including excellent birds watching of about 350 species, trekking, local Maasai cultural visit and wildlife viewing. Visitors can look toward to spot the World Big five and a host of other wildlife species including large herds of Wildebeests up to twenty-five thousand and Zebras. In the evening you will be driven back to Kilimanjaro International airport.
