Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari will continue to Tarangire National Park. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
Other animals that might be seen include zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, dik-diks, impalas, elands, Grant gazelles, olive baboons, and some predators including lions, caracals, and African wild dogs. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals—the greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx, as well as a few ashy starlings.
You will have a picnic lunch inside Tarangire National Park then continue enjoying the wildlife diversity till evening and start a journey to our hotel for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
