Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Today, you will be transported to Zanzibar Airport to catch your flight to the Serengeti National Park. Experience an afternoon game drive, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Wild Camp. Both lunch and dinner will be provided, and each person will receive daily supplies of drinking water.

The Serengeti National Park is renowned as the final stronghold for significant wildlife, boasting around three million large animals. The majority of these animals participate in a seasonal migration, a spectacle of nature's grandeur. Encompassing 14,763 square kilometers, the region's name, "Serengeti," originates from the Maasai word "Siringet," translating to endless plains.

Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a game drive across the various areas of the park. Following the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out and make your way back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will arrive at the Ngorongoro Safari Lodge in the evening, situated at the summit of the Ngorongoro Crater, with a stunning view of the Crater. You will check in, have dinner and turn in early in preparation for an early morning descent into the Crater.

Ngorongoro crater back to zanzibar

After savoring an early morning meal, you will set off on an adventure to explore the Ngorongoro Crater in hopes of spotting the elusive black rhino. This breathtaking crater is often called Africa's very own "Noah's Ark" and is teeming with a variety of wildlife, including lions, hyenas, elephants, and more. You will pause for a midday meal at Hippo Lake before making your way back up to the crater rim for another wildlife drive. Following check-out, you will return to the lodge and then make your way to Kilimanjaro airport in time for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
