We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Njiro legacy, where you will spend a night. A city sightseeing tour comes as part of the excursion that involve visiting the local markets, Masai market, cultural heritage & Arusha city museum.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel. After meeting the guide, we proceed on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly well-known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique opportunities to observe the interaction between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park, depending on where there are reported sightings of animals. We will mostly follow predators (lion, cheetah & leopard), as they are harder to spot than herbivores (giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, etc.).

We'll then head to the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals. Small monkeys & baboons will try to scare you off your lunch, but not anything to worry about. After lunch, we'll continue with the game drive. We exit the park at around 5:30 pm, when we'll head to our accommodation Suricata boma lodge.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is the best wildlife park in Tanzania due to its beautiful landscape. Being in a crater makes it easier to see the wildlife. After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, we'll head to the Ngorongoro viewpoint and look at the amazing view. The surreal sight will take your breath away. We will then proceed to descend into the crater on a journey to find the black rhinos. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in this beautiful crater, as most animals will be easier to spot in this park due to it being a floor crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the highlight of the parks in Tanzania. It has the most beautiful scenery and it is populated with an abundance of animals. The crater itself is self-sustaining for the animals, so they don’t have to migrate out of the crater. After lunch, we'll do a game drive and ascend the crater, then transfer to your accommodation in Arusha Njiro legacy hotel.
