Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Upon your arrival in the Nairobi area in the morning, you will meet our team, who will welcome you to Kenya, brief you about your safari, and introduce you to your driver-guide, who will be in charge of your journey. After this, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Samburu with brief stops along the way for restroom breaks and to take in the beautiful scenery of Kenya. Upon arrival, you'll check into your lodge, enjoy a hot lunch, and later embark on an afternoon guided game drive in search of the "Special Five" that make this reserve famous, as well as the Big Five that inhabit this haven and the diverse birdlife that calls this natural wilderness home. In the evening, you will witness the magical sunset over the land of Samburu before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Samburu National Reserve

On this day, you will have an early morning guided game drive in search of nocturnal wildlife that hunts during the night and returns to their habitat in the early morning. This will also give you the opportunity to witness the magical sunrise over the land of Samburu. Continue your guided game drive to spot more wildlife that you may have missed on your first day. Return to your lodge in the mid-morning for breakfast and relax, enjoying the lodge's facilities while you wait for lunch. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will embark on another guided game drive in search of additional wildlife before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day, you will have breakfast, check out of your lodge, and enjoy an en-route guided game drive on your way to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your original pick-up location, marking the end of your incredible safari with us. Thank you for entrusting us with your journey.
