Departure for Antsirabe, to the south. Our first leg is the highlands of Madagascar. Occupied predominantly by the Merina and Betsileo ethnies, you wil visit picturesque villages and small towns all along the national road 7. Lunch on your charge. Arrival in Antsirabe, check-in at your hotel then city tour by Pousse Pousse. Night on half board basis at Les Chambres du Voyageur.

Ranomafana

After the breakfast, continuation to Ranomafana crossing a large terraces of rice fields and traditional villages of the highlanders, especially one of them called Ambositra, very famous for its wood carving arts well known as Zafimaniry’s handcraft. Arrival in the afternoon. A nocturnal visit on the edge of the national park that hopefully will allow us to meet our first lemurs is in order. Overnight on half board basis at Thermal hotel.

Belambo

Breakfast at your hotel, 4 hours drive in season (or 4 hours of walk) to reach the entrance of Andringitra national park, where we will picnic lunch and meet the all the staff that will accompany you throughout the 3 days of trekking ahead of us. Antaranomby

Early start at 3 am to reach the top of the mountain, right at 2658m of altitud to admire the sunrise with a warm breakfast at the second highest peak of Madagascar. Afterwards, we will start the descent by crossing a lunar landscape to reach the last camping area called Antaranomby. Overnight in tent on a full board basis. Tsaranoro Valley

After the breakfast, half day of walk to rejoin Camp catta where the catta lemur are waiting for a nice welcome. Spare afternoon for a well deserved rest by the ecological swimming pool. Overnight on half board basis at Camp Catta. The valley is known to be a quiet and peaceful place to relax and we recommend you to take a moment in the evening to enjoy one of the most beautiful night sky you've ever encountered. The Canyons

Breakfast at the hotel. From there, continuation to the south for 5 hours of drive to the great canyons. Lunch
at your charge. Arrival in afternoon at Ranohira, installation, dinner and night at Isalo Ranch. During the road trip you will notice the change of landscape, after spending the last few days in the middle of a hilly landscape and rocky ranges, the stone giants will gradually give way to a golden savannah and will later be transformed into a sandstone massif. The vegetation also changes as you get closer to the arid south.
