You are going to travel to the inaccessible, breathtaking, and hilly Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwest Uganda today. For those who enjoy road trips, this 8–9 hour drive is a fantastic experience. The majority of the road is paved, but even on the a little uncomfortable sections, the beauty of the undulating hills makes them more daring. You will be surprised to see that you have arrived at the resort already as you pass through the villages and mingle with the residents. Dinner and spending the night together.

Gorilla tracking and transfer to Kalinzu forest

After an early breakfast, head to the briefing point in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to learn about your Mountain Gorilla adventure. Remember to bring enough drinking water and a lunch box. For $15, you can hire a porter to carry your bag and assist on slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you'll be grouped into teams of eight, each led by a park ranger, to spend one hour with the gentle giants. Given that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest, rain gear is essential. Depending on your return time, you may opt for a community visit. After tracking, you'll be transferred to Rubirizi near Kalinzu Forest, preparing for chimpanzee trekking the next day. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe

Following breakfast, you will be taken to the Uganda National woodland Authority-run Kalinzu woodland to go chimpanzee tracking. In addition to having the appropriate forest clothing, don't forget to bring enough drinking water. Following a briefing, you will head into the jungle and have an hour to spend with the chimpanzees once you locate them. Following the activities, you'll be taken to Entebbe.
