Day 1

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

Zanzibar to Central Serengeti National Park

You are expected to arrive at Seronera Airstrip around 11:00am. Upon arrival, our safari guide will greet you with a picnic lunch and provide all the necessary information for the upcoming adventure. After a brief stop for lunch around 1:00pm, you will continue your game drive with the goal of spotting the Serengeti's big cats and other wildlife. In the evening, you will return to Matawi Serengeti Camp or a similar lodge (depending on availability) for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, which offers the best chance to see predators in action and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise that sets the savannah aglow. After a late breakfast, you will head to Ngorongoro. The journey itself is a game drive, with your driver aiming to spot the Big Five, the wildebeest, and any other wildlife you hope to see along the way.

You will also have the opportunity to visit a traditional Masai boma, where you can witness and participate in Masai dances, tour an authentic Masai village, and shop for souvenirs at the local market.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will set off for Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. The panoramic viewpoint is your first view of this expansive, lush caldera.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is famous for its diverse wildlife, including over 120 mammal species and the Big Five. It is a prime spot for seeing the endangered black rhinoceros grazing on the grasslands and large herds of hippopotami in the cool waters.

From your open-top vehicle, you will have excellent opportunities to observe and photograph Africa's iconic wildlife. The crater is filled with predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas, as well as large populations of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, Cape buffalos, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the park's famous hippo pool before heading back to Arusha Airport.
