At 6:30am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and transferred to Nyungwe National Park. On the way, there will be a stop for a visit to the King's Palace Museum and then a visit to Huye Mountain Coffee. Lunch will be in Huye, and then you will proceed with the transfer to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kitabi Eco Center.

Cyinzobe Trail
You will be picked up by your driver guide from your lodge. The driver guide will then transfer you to the Uwinka Visitor Center, where you will meet your ranger guide and receive a briefing on safety precautions. After the briefing, you will begin the hiking experience, following the western ridge via the Uwinka trail. Along this path, you will enjoy stunning landscape views in Nyungwe National Park. Your ranger guide will point out bird species, tree species, and some silver or mountain monkeys if you are lucky. The day will end when you reach the first campsite, where you will spend the night, and the guides will light a fire to keep you warm.

Cyinzobe Trail
On the second day of the Cyinzobe trail, you will have breakfast at the campsite before embarking on another hiking journey in Nyungwe National Park. The trail leads to the Kamiranzovu wetland, home to unique flora and fauna. You will have the opportunity to walk along the edge of the wetland and immerse yourself in the Nyungwe National Park ecosystem. After exploring the wetland, you will continue hiking to the second campsite along the Kamiranzovu River. Spending the night at the second campsite offers a peaceful experience in a serene and quiet environment surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

Cyinzobe and Transfer to Kigali
The Cyinzobe trail's third day is much shorter than the first two days. The hike mainly involves moving from the second campsite to the Gisakura Visitor Center. The final stretch of the trail covers 23km (14mi) of walking as you approach the Gisakura center, where the hike ends. Upon arrival at Gisakura, you will be welcomed by your driver guide, who will then transfer you back to Kigali.
Comfortable accommodations are available along the Cyinzobe Hiking Trail in Nyungwe National Park. Two exclusive full-board campsites with wooden cabins along the trail offer a cozy sleeping area for visitors after a long day of hiking and exploration.
