Day 1

On the starting day of your adventure, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport and embark on a 2.5-hour journey to Tarangire. During the journey, you will be able to take in the beautiful natural landscapes and observe local communities. Upon arrival, we will proceed with a full-day game drive in Tarangire, renowned for its large population of elephants, distinctive baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we will head to the Crater Rim View in Karatu, where you will spend the night. The lodge offers accommodations with either a large bed or two single beds, ensuring your comfort. You will also enjoy dinner there and have the opportunity to relax before your next adventure.

Day 2

After breakfast, another day of adventure starts with a drive to the Serengeti through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will stop at the viewpoint to enjoy the views of the crater and continue driving to the Serengeti. After traveling a few kilometers along the top of the crater, you will begin to see the immense plains of the Serengeti.

The Serengeti is the most famous of Tanzania's national parks. It is known for its large number of grazing mammals, including 1.5 million wildebeest. The name 'Serengeti' is derived from the Masai word, meaning 'wide open space.'

Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you will have lunch and proceed with a game drive. Later in the evening, you will drive to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at the midrange accommodation, Kontiki Serengeti Camp, where you can relax while enjoying the sunset.

Day 3

Today will be another beautiful day in the Serengeti. We will have a morning and afternoon game drive, during which we will witness the great plains of Serengeti, where endless streams of wildebeest and zebra pour toward Ngorongoro or north toward the Masai Mara. Our game drive will cover the varied habitats and ecosystems of Serengeti.

We will explore different areas of the park, including the Seronera Valley, known for its large predator population, where we will have a chance to spot hippos and crocodiles. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. In the late evening, we will return to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a once-in-a-lifetime safari tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest unflooded and unbroken caldera, making it the jewel of Ngorongoro.

Upon descending to the crater floor, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, one of the crater's prominent features. Ngorongoro is one of the best places to see black rhinos in Tanzania, as well as black-maned lions, colorful flamingos, a variety of water birds, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and many other members of the antelope family. Later, you will ascend to the crater rim and drive to Arusha.

Depending on your departure time, you will have a chance to explore Arusha city at night.

This marks the end of the Tanzania Safari Adventure tour.
