Today, you will drive west to the world-famous Namib Desert, 210 miles from Mariental. You will see the iconic red dunes of Sossusvlei. In the afternoon, you will reach your campsite, where you will enjoy your dinner.

Day 2

Sossusvlei

Wake up early at the very first light of dawn to enjoy the best light during the excursion to the renowned dunes of Sossusvlei. Time is available to climb the Sossusvlei dune, walk to the exciting Deadvlei, and visit the Sesriem Canyon, whose geological conformation reveals many mysteries about the formation and evolution of our planet. The tour guide will have regular stops to let clients take pictures and have some exposure to the dunes.

Included activities: Sossusvlei excursion (Deadvlei, Big Daddy, Dune 45) and a visit to Sesriem Canyon.

Day 3

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

This morning, we leave and make our way to the cooler coastal town of Swakopmund by the Atlantic Ocean. We stop at the seal colony for a day visit. Swakopmund resembles a small German town with its architectural buildings, palm-lined streets, seaside promenades, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and museums.

Included activities: Quad biking and sand boarding.

Optional activities: Sky diving, Desert Living Museum tour, camel riding, boat cruise, air balloon safari, World’s Oldest Desert tour, Sandwich Harbour, and Pelican Point kayaking.

Day 4

Swakopmund to Etosha

Swakopmund to Etosha

You will depart to Etosha National Park and stay 2 nights. The park’s main characteristic is a large salt pan that can be seen from space. Abundant wildlife congregates around the waterholes, giving you almost guaranteed game sightings. At the same time, Etosha National Park is one of the most accessible game reserves in Namibia and southern Africa. The concentration of big game around the waterholes makes game viewing incredibly rewarding. You might not even have to leave your rest camp to see lions, elephants, rhinos and any number of antelope and zebra quenching their thirst.

Included activity: Afternoon game drive.

Today will be a full day of safari game viewing, which will allow plenty of opportunities for good sightings and spectacular photographs. After breakfast at the campsite, we go on our morning game drive.

After breakfast, we will depart for Kalahari North. Enjoy the solitude and changing colors of the Kalahari and endless views over the desert landscape, a fascinating glimpse into the remarkable fauna and flora that survive and thrive in these harsh desert conditions.

Harnas Foundation

We have an early breakfast and enjoy a full day in the Kalahari. The northern/central region is home to ancient dry riverbeds called "omuramba". Kalahari North is blanketed in endemic acacia and camelthorn trees, ephemeral rivers, and a fossil watercourse. It boasts a reasonably regular rainfall, making it the ideal habitat to support fauna and flora.

Included activity: Harnas cheetah feeding.

Day 8

Harnas Foundation to Ghanzi

We will have an early breakfast and then depart to Ghanzi. Ghanzi is 300 kilometers southwest of Maun and north of the Trans-Kalahari highway, which runs from Lobatse in Botswana to Walvis Bay in Namibia. The small town of Ghanzi is sometimes referred to as the "Capital of the Kalahari". It serves as the administrative center of the Ghanzi District which covers a vast area of cattle ranches and farmland in the west of Botswana. Ghanzi Trail Blazers caters for visitors who wish to have a genuine glimpse of a fast-disappearing, unique, and ancient culture. It offers several activities to interact with the San Bushman, and to discover how they survived in the Kalahari.

We will grab an early breakfast and then depart for Maun. Set on the banks of the beautiful Thamalakane River in northern Botswana, Maun is the third-largest town in this spectacularly scenic southern African country. Maun is the starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta and has developed into a bustling metropolis that is considered Botswana’s tourism capital. After checking in and freshening up, you will go for an activity.

Day 10

Maun to Khwai

Maun to Khwai

Have breakfast and depart to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa. It covers more than 4,871 square kilometers of pristine wilderness, and this varied terrain includes savannah, winding waterways, and dense forest. The diverse ecosystem supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, lion, cheetah and wild dog packs in the open grasslands. The prolific birdlife includes most of the 550 bird species recorded on Botswana’s national bird list.

Khwai to Chobe Riverfront

After breakfast, we will cross the Botswana border and reach Kasane, the largest town in this region. It has a slight architectural chaos characteristic of Botswana. The area has the largest concentration of elephants in the world. Elephant migrations take place very close to the city limits. On the access road, be very careful because huge herds like to move across the main road. We will go on a boat trip on the Chobe River in Kasane. During the cruise, we will observe many wild animals.

Included activity: Sunset boat cruise.

Chobe Riverfront to Victoria Falls

We will depart from Chobe to Victoria Falls, one of the world's largest waterfalls, resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River. At the western end of the eponymous falls, this popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around. It makes an ideal base for travellers exploring the Seventh Wonder of the World, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls. After arrival, you will go on a game drive and return for dinner.

Included activities: Visit the Victoria Falls and a walking tour.

Optional activities: Scenic flights, white-water rafting and kayaking.

We will refresh in the morning, have breakfast and continue to do more exciting activities. On this second day, it's time for additional attractions - rafting on the Zambezi, canoeing, scenic flights over Victoria Falls or bungy jumping. The bridge connects Zambia with Zimbabwe deep into the canyon, at the bottom of which the frothy waters of the Zambezi rush. You can also see Victoria Falls from the Zambian side.

Included activity: Zambezi boat cruise (2 hours).
