You will be picked up by our experienced and knowledgeable driver guide and you head North. You will make a stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos and effectively starting off your Big Five sighting check list. After lunch you will continue North towards Murchison Falls NP. Your accommodation will be on the shores of the River Nile.

Day 2

Your game drive will start after an early breakfast. You will experience Uganda's oldest and largest national park with possible sightings of the Big 4 - Lion, Leopard, Elephant and Buffalo. In the mid afternoon you will head out for a boat ride on the Nile to experience even more game by the shores. You will catch a glimpse of the world's strongest falls from the river. After lunch you will take a short drive to the top of Murchison Falls where you will experience this natural thunderous beauty at close range.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest

Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest

Budongo forest is the largest natural rainforest in the whole of East Africa and it is only 30 minutes drive from Kichumbanyobo gate. The forest covers a distance of over 500 sq. km and is part of the Murchison Falls conservation area. The chimpanzee area is managed by the Jane Goodall institute for research.

After an early breakfast, you will check out and drive through Murchison Falls NP towards Budongo Forest where tracking will start after a briefing in the presence of a Uganda Wildlife Authority guide.
The chimpanzee tracking is a three hours activity; t he three hours include the trekking to the chimpanzee community, having a full hour to interact with the chimpanzees and take pictures and then walking back.

You will then head to your accommodation and lunch in Hoima.

Enjoy yet another game drive within the Queen Elizabeth NP known for the tree-climbing lions. Spend the afternoon on yet another boat cruise on the Kazinga channel between Lakes George and Edward which serves up even more marine game such as hippos and crocodile.

Day 5

Queen Elizabeth NP to Bwindi NP

Queen Elizabeth NP to Bwindi NP

This is the day that you come face to face with the rare mountain gorillas only found in this part of the world! This experience is life changing.

After briefing you will then head out in search of the gorillas. This can take a few hours or several. Once the gorillas are sighted you will be allowed to spend an hour with them. You will then return and receive your certificate.

Depending on the time you encounter the gorillas lunch will be had either back at the hotel or at the nearby lodge.

Today you will enjoy the cultural experience of the Batwa people where they exhibit their hunter-gatherer way of life. You will also enjoy song and dance. Show off your dance moves if the rythm gets to you. Return to the lodge and explore the lake activities such as canoeing and spend some time at the campfire over looking the Virunga Mountains.

Day 7

Kisoro to Entebbe

Kisoro to Entebbe

You shall set off after breakfast and head back to Entebbe. You will have lunch in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural hotel where you will spend some time in the museum appreciating the history and ways of the Nkore people. You will meet the Equator crossing in Kayabwe, a nice spot for pictures before heading back to Entebbe where your memorable tour ends.
