Our guide will pick you up from the airport or hotel depending on the arrangements you have made with the company. You will then visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. Afterward, you'll proceed to Ruhengeri Town driving for 2 hours and 30 min for lunch. Afterward, you will check in at your lodge. After check-in, you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund center in Kinigi. Later, you'll relax at your lodge as you prepare for the next day's activities.

Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda and Transfer to Uganda
After an early breakfast, you'll proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don'ts of the gorilla trekking experience. The activity can last as much as 8 hours or as short as 3 hours depending on the gorilla family allocated to you. After the tracking experience, you will proceed to the Rwanda-Uganda border crossing town of Chanika and do the immigration process. Afterward, you'll check in at your lodge near the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda.

Golden Monkey Tracking Experience
After an early morning breakfast, you'll carry your packed lunch. You'll proceed for an epic experience of tracking golden monkeys. Golden monkeys are found in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park which is part of the Virunga Mountains where it is endemic.
It lives in social groups of up to 30 individuals. Its diet consists mainly of bamboo, leaves, and fruit, though it is also thought to eat insects. Due to the gradual destruction of their habitat and recent wars in their limited habitat, the golden monkey is listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List.
Because of this reason, golden monkey tracking is a highly recommended activity as you will be the luckiest person to see them.

Transfer to Kibale National Park
The transfer to Kibale National Park is a very scenic drive that takes you through whining roads and very beautiful green environments. You'll get a chance to pass through the mighty Queen Elizabeth National Park with a chance to see some animals along the way. Lunch will be en route. You'll arrive early evening, and opt to do some of the optional activities as will be highlighted by your guide.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Entebbe Airport
This is the last day of your trip but also the most exciting last day you have ever seen because you will have an exciting morning with humans' closest relatives, the chimpanzees. This will mostly take up to 3 to 5 hours. After this activity, depending on your arrangements with Kajie Safaris, you will proceed to Entebbe International Airport which is a 5-hour drive away. You can also opt for a one-hour domestic flight.
