Fly from Zanzibar to Tarangire game drive

Prepare for a thrilling safari adventure! Your transfer driver will collect you from your Zanzibar hotel early in the morning and escort you to the airport. A short flight of approximately one hour will take you to Arusha aboard a small aircraft. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at Arusha Airport and you'll embark on a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its large elephant population and the ancient baobab trees, the largest trees in Africa, the park offers a glimpse into diverse habitats. You'll explore in an open-roof vehicle, observing seasonal swamps, verdant plains, and the life-giving Tarangire River, home to a variety of wildlife including birds, giraffes, zebras, and lions. Following your day of exploration, you'll retreat to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today marks the start of your adventure with an early journey to Lake Eyasi, setting off around 5:30 a.m., and you'll be equipped with a packed breakfast. The day is set to offer an authentic experience with the Hadza tribe, known for their distinctive cultural practices. You'll get the unique opportunity to join in their gathering endeavors, as they are primarily gatherers. The Hadza lead a traditional lifestyle, gathering for small animals like dik-diks and gathering honey. They live in simple dwellings that are easily constructed and just as quickly left behind. Communicating through a click language, the Hadza offer an immersive cultural experience. After spending time with the tribe, you will head to Karatu for your overnight stay and dinner..

Ngorongoro Crater and Fly to zanzibar

Today, after breakfast at the lodge, you will set off on a 40-minute drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. This magnificent site is home to a diverse array of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, and you may even have the opportunity to observe the rare black rhinos. The crater measures approximately 20 kilometers in diameter, requiring around 6 hours for a thorough exploration. Enjoy your lunch at a picnic site with a view of Hippo Lake. Subsequently, you will proceed to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar, concluding your memorable 3-day journey.
