Pick up from hotel in the morning. Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive towards Amboseli National Park, taking in scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and Chyulu Hills along the way. Upon arrival at the park in the early afternoon, you will check in to your lodge or camp and enjoy a welcoming lunch. This will give you time to settle in and enjoy a relaxing meal while overlooking the stunning landscapes and possibly catching glimpses of wildlife in the distance. After lunch, the afternoon is perfect for a game drive, where you'll have the chance to spot Amboseli’s famous elephant herds, along with lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. As the sun begins to set, you’ll return to your lodge to unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner in a peaceful setting.

Your adventure continues with an early morning game drive, allowing you to experience wildlife at its most active. The cooler hours offer excellent opportunities to spot predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as herds of elephants and other animals. You’ll then visit Observation Hill, where you can take in sweeping views of the park’s diverse landscapes. Afterward, a cultural visit to a Maasai village provides insight into the traditions and way of life of the Maasai people, with a chance to interact and learn about their customs. In the afternoon, another game drive will take you through various parts of the park, ensuring you have a full experience of Amboseli’s wildlife and natural beauty. The day concludes with a leisurely dinner at the lodge.

Amboseli to nairobi

You’ll embark on a final early morning game drive to explore more of the park and capture any last wildlife sightings. A visit to the Amboseli swamps gives you another opportunity to spot elephants, as well as a variety of bird species. Afterward, you’ll begin your journey back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch enroute before arriving back in the city. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
