Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. During the 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the landscape and local communities. You'll spend the day on a full game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, you'll transfer to the Africa Safari Lake Manyara tented camp, where you can take a refreshing swim in the pool.

Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world, home to an estimated 30,000 large mammals. Its natural borders create an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area, including the Big Five, zebra, and elephants. At the end of the day, you'll head to Ndutu/South Serengeti for an overnight stay at the Africa Safari South Serengeti tented camp, an area renowned for the great migration's calving season.

Serengeti National Park
On the third day, you'll head towards the Serengeti. After a few hours' drive, you'll arrive at the Serengeti gate, enjoy lunch, and then embark on a game drive through this magnificent park. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast savannah and forest landscapes, and it is famous for its great migration, which involves about 1.5 million herbivores and their followers. You will then arrive at the Africa Safari Ikoma tented camp, situated between the Serengeti Seronera, Grumeti, and Ikorongo Game Reserves. This prime location is perfect for exploring the area and provides a tranquil retreat where you can relax while watching birdlife or listening to the sounds of the African bush.

Ikoma Wildlife Management
You'll start the day with a game drive in the Ikoma Wildlife Management Area, a 242-square-kilometer expanse of pristine wilderness. This area is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including herds of elephants, waterbucks, black and white colobus monkeys, elusive leopards, and both greater and lesser kudu. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the area on foot with a ranger during a walking safari for extra cost, culminating in a sundowner. This unique experience offers an immersive way to connect with the environment. You’ll spend another night at the Africa Safari Ikoma tented camp.

Serengeti National Park
After an early morning exploration of the Ikoma Wildlife Management Area, you'll be picked up from your Ikoma tent and continue your adventure with a game drive in Serengeti National Park. At the end of the day, you'll spend the night at the Africa Safari Maasai Boma Lodge. True to its name, the lodge is inspired by a traditional Maasai boma, giving you a genuine feel of Maasai culture. The local village, Ololosokwan, is not within an official game reserve or national park, but wildlife can still be spotted in the surrounding areas.

Lake Natron
After breakfast, you'll journey to Lake Natron. The drive from the northern Serengeti is remote and offers a striking, otherworldly beauty with vast, ancient landscapes. The route traverses untouched Maasai land, featuring small bomas and towering mountains set against a rugged, scorched terrain. En route to the lodge, you may stop at a hot spring for a refreshing break.
You'll spend the night at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The lodge features a swimming pool seamlessly integrated into its surroundings, with breathtaking views of the neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano. You'll take in the scenery and enjoy a 10-minute guided walk to the lake. From June to November, the lake becomes a gathering place for around two million flamingos.

In the morning, your guide will lead you on an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (be sure to wear walking shoes). Along the way, you'll pass by several nearby Maasai villages, and your hike will be guided by a Maasai local. After lunch, you'll travel to Mto Wa Mbu, where you'll spend the night at Africa Safari Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its stunning panoramic views, waterfalls, clear babbling brooks, and hot springs. You’ll spend the entire day game driving in the park, taking in its diverse landscapes and wildlife. Afterward, you’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving before dinner to conclude your magnificent safari.
