This morning join a half day private city tour which includes a visit to pretty Company Gardens, the South African Museum and Castle of Good Hope - Cape Town's oldest surviving colonial building, dating from the 1600s. The highlight of the tour will inevitably be ascending iconic Table Mountain by cable car, where you will be afforded panoramic views of the city, beaches and Robben Island beyond. This evening, perhaps visit nearby Camps Bay for an oceanside dinner and drinks This lively area is a must-visit for its shops, restaurants, and attractions, including the Two Oceans Aquarium, the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa and the harbour with its stunning views of Table Mountain.

Today, rise early for a full day exploring the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point on a privately guided tour. As you pass alongside some of Cape Town's most picturesque and affluent waterside suburbs, keep your camera handy for dramatic shots of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and azure Atlantic Ocean. Continue onto Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the world's most spectacular coastal drives, towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point where you will have time to explore. On your return to Cape Town, visit the famous Boulders Beach penguin colony and stroll around Kirstenbosch, one of South Africa's most impressive botanical gardens.

It's time to bid Cape Town farewell and catch your onward 2 hour flight to the Kruger National Park. Nestled in South Africa's north-eastern region, Kruger is one of the largest and most iconic reserves in Africa and is home to the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) as well as hundreds of other mammal and bird species. After transferring from the airport, you'll have time to settle in before your first late afternoon game activity.

Rise before dawn breaks and embark on your first morning game drive, scouring the horizon for evidence of last night's hunt. Keep your eyes peeled for paw prints and tracks, while listening to your guide explain the delicate intricacies of Kruger's diverse eco system. After a hearty breakfast back at the lodge, take a dip in the private plunge pool or perhaps an afternoon siesta, before your afternoon game activity and dinner under the stars.
