Ngorongoro crater

Today you are going to visit one of the most special places in the world: Ngorongoro Crater. An early morning is called for so you'll be in the crater as Africa awakes. At the gate of the park fees are paid, and from there it is about a 1.5 hour drive into the crater. Along the way you pass a very beautiful viewpoint over the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's most spectacular natural areas because of the diversity and density of wildlife. In the Crater floor all members of the Big Five can be seen (elephant, lion, black rhino, leopard and buffalo). There is one animal that you will not see today and that is the giraffe, since the walls of the caldera are too steep for them.

The lodge will provide you with a lunchbox to eat at one of the picnic spots in the crater. After an amazing day you drive back to Arusha.

Gym khana Golf

After breakfast you will be taken to Gymkhana. Gymkhana is located in Arusha town. The course contains only 9 holes (Par 72), but is pretty challenging. The slightly hilly terrain has many trees. 18 Holes can be played using alternative tee boxes.

For lunch, we take you to the safari house. As the name implies, this lodge is a "wildlife sanctuary" where you can see the last zebras, monkeys, waterbuck and other wildlife. The sanctuary was originally established to provide a safe haven for injured animals. Colobus monkeys can sometimes be seen in the trees around your lunch table. After lunch return to the lodge, for some poolside relaxation.

In the afternoon it's time to relax at the lodge. The lodge offers a number of free activities. A boat trip on the lake or a walk into the private forest to spot monkeys (the Sykes monkey and the black and white Colobus monkey you will definitely meet). The lodge also operates a trout farm and the staff will gladly show you around.

The course features ingeniously shaped bunkers and a pop-up irrigation system, all crafted to the highest standards. Fairways and greens are lined with water features, indigenous plants, native grasses, and trees, creating a dramatic and tranquil golfing environment. The course has a par of 72, with a traditional mix of four par threes, four par fives, and ten par fours. The lush green fairways and well-manicured greens are beautifully landscaped. From certain holes, you can see both Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Water hazards are present, and you'll encounter many beautiful birds.
