2-Day Dar-Mikumi and Udzungwa Memorable Safari by Train

SGR Train-Morogoro Town - Mikumi National Park

We'll arrange a pick up from the hotel in Dar es salaam or airport and drive to the Train Station for a safari to Morogoro Town starting at 06hr00 and you'll arrive at 08hr00 in Morogoro Town with a drop a drop off at the SGR station.

On arrival, you'll be met with our driver and start your drive from Morogoro Towns SGR (Standard Gauge Railway) Station to Mikumi national park where you'll arrive at 09hr30. And after check-in you'll proceed with the game drive across the park with the high chance of animal viewing during a pleasing guided game drive. You'll proceed with the game drive till lunch stop at 13hr00 and after having your stop for lunch you'll then procced with the game drive to 16hrs then drive to Hondo Hondo tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Udzungwa hike then Drive to Morogoro for your SGR Train

After breakfast from the lodge take 2-hour drive to Udzungwa mountains national park, upon arrival you will be taken with professional ranger/guide and take few hours (4 to 5 hours) hike to Sanje waterfalls, take bath if you will like, learn more about monkeys and birds. After a wonderful hike at 16:00hrs you will Return to Your accommodation and pick your properties and go to Mikumi Railway station to board a train back to dar es salaam on 19:30hrs whereby your train will take 1hour and 40 mins.
