A tour guide will meet you upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport for your onward transfer to Bayete Guesthouse, your home for the following 2 nights.

After a leisurely check-in, your driver will be available to take you down to the jetty where you will board the boat for your first encounter with the mighty Zambezi River whilst enjoying a sunset cruise on the river.

Sit back and relax whilst you get to experience the splendor of a sunset over the Zambezi River taking in the kaleidoscope of colours, hippos and crocs basking on the banks whilst elephants trumpet a farewell to the day.

A welcoming sundowner drink will help quench your thirst while left to gather your thoughts taking in the scenes of the iconic falls against the African sky. Drinks will be followed by a gourmet dinner of local delicacies.

Victoria Falls and helicoptor flight

After breakfast we enjoy a walking tour of the Victoria Falls, also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke that Thunders.

Victoria Falls straddles the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The river plunges over a mile-wide precipice, dropping about twice the height of Niagara Falls into a narrow gorge creating a spray mist, giving the falls its ethereal appearance.

A Sensory Experience:
Sight: The falls span the entire width of the Zambezi River, creating a continuous sheet of falling water.
Sound: You can hear the roar of the falls from about a mile away.
Feel: Visitors walking on the opposite side of the narrow gorge can feel the spray (ponchos recommended)
Smell and Taste: The mist carries a distinct scent, and the experience is truly multisensory

After a short helicopter flight over the falls, you will have the afternoon at leisure, or you can book one of many optional activities with your hotel reception, possibly a bridge tour, gorge swing, white water rafting or bungee jumping.

Day at leisure before departure

After breakfast you can decide to spend your last day at Bayete Lodge at leisure or indulge yourself one last time trip to the falls, otherwise book any activities which you may not have been able to fit in the previous day.

Your airport transfer will be scheduled according to your flight schedule.
