You'll be picked up from your guest house and transferred to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will be able to track rhinos on foot with the help of armed rangers who are there to guide and protect you throughout the experience.
After one hour of viewing and walking with white rhinos, you'll head out for a hot lunch before driving to the park gate for clearance. Then, you will proceed through Budongo forest to the top of the falls as your first activity in the park. After the stop for fall’s photographic moments, you'll drive to your lodge which is in the middle of the park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in the park.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Shared Boat Cruise on the Nile River
After breakfast (6:00 am), you'll head out for a drive-in search of cats which might still be busy with a kill or running away from the wet grass. Watch out for leopards, elephants, cape buffalo, giraffes, baboons, monkeys etc.
In the afternoon, you'll take a shared boat cruise to the bottom of the falls in search of animals that come to drink and cool off on the banks of the Nile River such as elephants, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles, the monitor lizards, hippos and many birds.

Scenic Road Trip and Evening Bigodi Community Walk
After breakfast, you will have a short game drive as you head out of the park. You'll drive further to the southern parts of Uganda with a hot lunch en route to Kibale forest. After check-in, you'll take a walk in the famous Bigodi wetlands, a community project managed by the community aimed at changing and improving the lives of the host communities. Watch out for olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, bird species, and cultural encounters with the local communities. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Kanyanchu to join others for briefing before you head to the forest with rangers in search of chimps following their calls and tracks. Once chimps have been located, you will spend one hour with them as you learn more about them.
After your hot lunch at the lodge, you'll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, check-in and prepare for your game drive to close the day. On request, we can arrange a night game driver for better chances of sighting cats.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Community Boat Tour
This park is blessed with with over 90 species of mammals and 600 bird species which makes it ideal for the big game. To increase your chances of wildlife sightings, you will start your game drives at 6:30 am and hope to meet lions, leopards, elephants, and cape buffaloes among others on this quest.
In the afternoon, you'll take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel famous for its high density of hippos, and discover more about the water species or meet those who come to relax or drink water in the afternoon. You'll use the Katunguru community boat to support the local communities who are guides and local fishermen. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the edge of the Kazinga Channel.

Optional Carnivore Monitoring and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive towards the southernmost parts of Uganda. The road trip is both scenic and wild as you traverse through the rural villages of the Kigezi region. Depending on where your gorilla permits have been booked, you will have lunch en route and proceed to overnight at the edge of the forest. There is an optional lion monitoring program before departing to Bwindi at 200$ per person not included in the cost. This is to give you a chance to follow cats as one of the routine procedures in monitoring and caring for these big cats.

Iconic Gorilla Tracking and Transfer to Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will have a short drive to the UWA briefing center where you will be taken through the dos and don’ts while tracking gorillas. After you have been allocated a gorilla family in a group of 8 pax, you will be led by ranger guides off the forest to search for the gorillas. When gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour of viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. Later, you'll transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight stay. Look at our packing list for gorilla tracking.

Transfer from Bunyonyi to Entebbe or your International Flight
After your breakfast, you will have optional activities on the lake and transfer back to Entebbe for your evening flight. The flight must be from 7:00 pm onwards because this is a long transfer. You'll have lunch en route if you would like some craft shopping, you will stop at the equator, as well as a Rolex booth in Mbarara if you would like to taste the local Rolex. This is the end of your tour.
