Day 1

Tarangire National Park

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch. After a two-hour drive to the park's entrance, you'll enjoy a full-day game drive in this park known for its high concentration of elephants and diverse wildlife. You'll have lunch at a designated picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River, then continue with another game drive before heading to your lodge in Karatu town.

Day 2

Drive to Serengeti National Park

Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will head to Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch. It’s a 20-minute drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance gate. You'll then drive 5 km to the crater viewpoint for a brief stop and information about the area. From there, you'll continue to Serengeti National Park, enjoying wildlife viewing along the way. The drive to the exit gate takes about two hours, with a picnic lunch en route.

Once you enter Serengeti National Park, the game drive begins. You'll head to Central Serengeti, enjoying more game viewing as you make your way to our tented accommodation for an overnight stay at Matawi Tented Camp.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters to the crater floor, which spans 260 sq km. This self-contained ecosystem is home to a variety of carnivores and herbivores. With some luck, you might spot the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes. Lake Magadi hosts several water birds, including flamingos, herons, and pelicans. The Lerai Forest is home to baboons, monkeys, elephants, bushbucks, waterbucks, and even leopards. The crater's swamps are perfect for observing hippos. In the afternoon, you'll stop at a picnic site for lunch. Afterward, you'll enjoy more wildlife viewing as you ascend the crater and drive to Karatu for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park then Airport or Arusha

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park then Airport or Arusha

You will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, where you'll spot primates in the lush forest near the entrance. Although smaller than other parks, Lake Manyara boasts unique beauty and is known for its tree-climbing lions and excellent photo opportunities with giraffes, elephants, and antelopes. You will enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake's shore. The park is also a fantastic spot for bird watchers, offering a range of species from small and colorful to large ones. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha or the airport for departure.
