Day 1

Upon arriving at the airport, meet your transfer driver, who will take you to the hotel for an overnight stay and a briefing about the next day's safari. Accommodation is provided on a bed and breakfast basis. It takes about an hour to reach the hotel from Kilimanjaro Airport and about half an hour from Arusha Airport.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, check out from the lodge in Arusha town. We’ll pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch, a journey of about 2 hours. Tarangire is known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees, including some as old as 300 years. The park is also home to big cats like lions and leopards. In the afternoon, we’ll head to a picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River for lunch, where monkeys and baboons are often seen—please don’t feed them. After lunch, enjoy an en-route game drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Karatu to serengeti National Park

Karatu to serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we break down the tents, load the Jeep, and drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro and a Maasai village. The Maasai have lived in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for over 200 years. At the village, you'll experience how they coexist with wildlife, see traditional dances, and learn about their culture. We then proceed to Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate, where we'll stop briefly for payment. Once in Serengeti, enjoy an en-route game drive to the Matawi tented camp, arriving before 6:00 pm for dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 4

We'll start the day with breakfast before driving back to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival, we'll descend directly into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. Known for its unique ecosystem, Ngorongoro is home to diverse wildlife, including the rare black rhinoceros, hyenas, jackals, zebras, and wildebeests. The Big Five and big cats are commonly spotted here. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and heading to your chosen accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the final day of your adventure, explore Lake Manyara National Park. Though small, this park boasts unique beauty. Begin your morning game drive from the main gate to the lake to spot water birds, then continue to the open areas where antelopes and other animals roam. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before driving back to the exit gate, then return to Arusha or head to the airport for departure.
