Day 1

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel, and the tour will begin with a stop in Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases before heading out on your safari. Next, you will travel to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, complete with a picnic lunch amidst the park's stunning scenery. Tarangire is famous for its impressive elephant population and striking baobab trees. Each year, the park becomes a hub of activity with the migration of up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. You will enjoy dinner and spend the night at Suricata Boma Lodge.

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend from the highlands, the expansive plains of Serengeti National Park will unfold before you. The adventure continues to the Seronera Area in the central park, renowned for its abundant wildlife. The Seronera River, a vital water source, draws a variety of species, offering a glimpse of Serengeti’s diverse wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore the wonders of the Serengeti.

Dinner and overnight accommodations await you at Matawi Serengeti Camp.

Spend the evening on the crater rim, enjoying a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite A.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600m (2,000ft) into the crater to witness the rich wildlife that thrives within. With its constant water supply and lush vegetation, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a diverse range of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, eland, warthogs, hippos, and majestic African elephants. The park is also renowned for its high concentration of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards, which require a keen eye to spot.

During your visit, you will explore Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern part of the crater. This area is a sanctuary for numerous flamingoes, hippos, and various water birds. In the late afternoon, you will transfer to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay, or you may choose to be dropped off at the airport.

Accommodation in Arusha can be arranged upon request for an additional cost.
