Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, we'll pick you up from the airport/hotel to begin our captivating drive to Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its rich diversity of landscapes. Tarangire is famed for its ancient baobab trees and highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, offering unique opportunities to observe these majestic creatures and their interactions.
Our journey includes a thrilling game drive through the park, focusing on areas known for animal sightings, particularly predators such as cheetahs and lions, which can be challenging to spot in the wild and other interesting wildlife inhabiting the park.
In the afternoon, we'll relax at the picnic site for lunch while enjoying views of the Tarangire river and wildlife. Friendly encounters with small monkeys and baboons may add to the charm of your mealtime experience.
After lunch, we continue our game drive into the evening before leaving the park to go to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

Following a delicious breakfast, you will begin your game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exhilarating wildlife viewing experience.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is renowned as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and the crater serves as a crucial refuge for a diverse array of animals.
During your visit, you are likely to encounter majestic elephants, buffalos and the endangered black rhino. Additionally, the crater is inhabited by large herds of wildebeest and zebra, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, as well as nearly 400 species of birds.
Lunch will be served on the crater floor during mid day before you continue with the game drive.
After this wonderful excursion, you will drive back to your lodge in Karatu town for a delicious dinner and rest, set for your final expedition day.

Day 3

Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Tour

Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Tour

After breakfast, our safari guide will take you to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe and Datoga communities. First, you'll visit the Hadza community known for their great hunting skills, to immerse yourself in their culture you will join them on a hunting trip in the forest. Next, you will visit another community, the Datoga, who are famous for their blacksmithing skills.
You can also take a walk around Lake Eyasi and check out the local village with your private guide. At mid-day you will enjoy a packed lunch, before you begin your journey back to Arusha.
This marks the end of our 3-day wildlife and cultural adventure, your guide will drop you off at the airport.
