You came to South Africa to experience this and here you are. You will be flying to a domestic airport from Johannesburg. Spot the famous animals from the air so long and be prepared to see them closer in a few days.

After settling in, embark on your first afternoon game drive which is a great opportunity to potentially spot some of the Big Five and get to know the reserve. From your open 4x4 vehicle (weather permitted) you will most probably can almost touch them - but don't.

After all that excitement and adrenaline you arrive back at the lodge for a great dinner, local drinks and meeting some new friends. Memorize all the information and share it with your co-travelers.

Big Cats all Around You

As Idube is known for its leopard sightings, you have to get up early and join the early morning game drive. Cats are nocturnal and early in the mornings the chances are great to see them returning to their sleep. Other animals are also more active in the early mornings, so be ready for that camera and video.

After enjoying hot coffee and spotting more great animals, you return to the camp for a hearty South African breakfast. The reserve is part of a conservation effort to protect the rhino and for the rest of the day, you can be part of this and learn more about this animal. There are optional guided walks, bird watching, and even a great spa treatment in the bush.

Relax and prepare yourself for the late afternoon game drive to observe more animals, spot more or again the Big, 5, and just take some more great photos of those memories. Idube is famous for its excellent cuisine so enjoy another great evening and tasty meals before sleeping.

Last change and Leaving

Today is unfortunately the last change and the last of your great experience, but it doesn't have to stop here. Enjoy a last morning game drive with hot coffee, breakfast on return.
Packing and get ready to be transported to the domestic airport and going back to Johannesburg.
