Day 1

Tarangire National Park

This morning, your guide will pick you up from your lodge/hotel and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park is known for its high concentration of elephants among its ancient baobab trees.

Named after the Tarangire River, the park attracts much wildlife, especially during the dry season. The river circuits offer excellent views of animals on the riverbanks. After a fantastic game drive, you'll be transferred to Fig Tree Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Today, we will transfer to the vast plains of the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Serengeti is home to millions of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, as well as over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs, and many more species.

This park, arguably more famous than the country it resides in, is renowned for its magnificent wildlife and ecosystem. We will have the opportunity to witness its wonders and see Mother Nature at her wildest and finest.

Upon completing the formalities and entering the Serengeti gates, our game drive will commence. You will enjoy lunch in the afternoon before continuing with the game drive. In the evening, we will head to Nyani Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

This day continues with the game drive at Serengeti but is more likely to be based in the southern part, which will make you be able to spot more hunting actions and even exit without a delay heading to Simba Campsite.

Activities such as a sunrise game drive will enable you to spot the Big Five animals and many other animals including the hunting actions since at sunrise animals are very active in searching for their daily meals. On this day, you may also book a hot air balloon safari at $550 per person.

You will continue with the game drive until late in the afternoon. You'll exit the park to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is the place where you will spend the night, at the rim of the crater.

Day 4

You will have breakfast at the campsite. At 8:00 am, you will be picked up and head to the crater gate, with game viewing along the way. At 9:00 am, you will descend the crater and at 1:00 pm, you'll have lunch at a picnic site. At 3:00 pm, you'll exit the crater and head to Mto wa Mbu.

The park has volcanic soil that supports many habitats making it very potential for Big Five spotting in a single day visit. Inside the park, there's Lake Makat, which provides a home for many birds. Apart from that, the park is well known for the existence of many Maasai families living in their circular-oriented Bomas.

Furthermore, it's best for anyone wishing to explore the history of human evolution pioneered by Leakey's family. You can expect to spot lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, many birds, zebras, hippos, gazelles, jackals, foxes, wild dogs, elands, waterbucks, servals and ungulates. Absentees are giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, and elephants, which are rarely seen at the crater rim.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to the enchanting Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, embark on an exciting game drive through the park, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness its rich biodiversity and spectacular scenery.

Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park is a lush haven for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. This diverse park boasts a stunning mix of landscapes, including dense woodlands, steep cliffs, and expansive grassy floodplains. Day 6

Lake Eyasi (Hadzabe bushmen & Datoga)

Today will be a cultural tour day. After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Eyasi and visit the Hadzabe Bushmen and the Datoga. We will immerse ourselves in cultural activities, learning about the fascinating lifestyles of these communities.

The Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, have a unique symbiotic relationship with their environment. We will learn how they hunt using intricately crafted bows and arrows made from willow trees and gather their food, which includes roots, honey, and wild fruits.

This community, with its rich heritage and timeless traditions, offers an unforgettable experience as they live in an untouched and scenically beautiful area. You will get to experience their culture first-hand and perhaps participate in their activities.

In the evening, you will start your drive to Arusha and rest in your town accommodation.

Day 7

Materuni Waterfalls

The Materuni Waterfall is a river in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. Don't forget to bring your swimwear as there is a natural swimming pool at the bottom of the waterfall.

Around the Materuni Falls you will have a walking activity. There is more to explore such as coffee tour, traditional dance. If the weather is good, you can see the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro quite clearly.

Learn how coffee is grown, dried, roasted and processed during the coffee tour. You will be invited by the local people to help with the grinding of the coffee beans. You will see traditional dance and singing of Chagga people from Moshi.

After finishing the tour we'll drop you off at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport then the tour will end.
