Day 1

Tarangire National park

Tarangire National park

The journey to Tarangire unfolds through gently rolling Masai plains adorned with scattered acacia trees. Along the roadside, vibrant Masai individuals dressed in colorful attire can be seen walking, riding bicycles, and herding animals. Named after the Tarangire River flowing through it, this 'river of warthogs' serves as the region's sole water source for wildlife during the Dry season. The park is renowned for its congregating elephant families often seen by the river. Additionally, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeest may grace your view. Pursuing these animals are various predators, including lions and leopards. Tarangire National Park boasts more breeding species of birds than any other place on the planet. The park is also home to huge and ancient baobab trees.

After this adventure, you return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
