2 travelers on Start dateArusha to Tarangire National Park
After meeting your tour guide, we will drive for two hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscape. The park is famous for having the most elephants in the country and many ancient baobab trees! You’ll get a great chance to see how different elephant families interact. We’ll go on a game drive based on recent animal sightings. While you’ll often see herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras, spotting predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards can be more challenging.
Later, we’ll have lunch at the Tarangire River Picnic Site, enjoying the river views and wildlife around it. Small monkeys and baboons might come close to your food, but they aren’t a threat. After lunch, we’ll continue our game drive and leave the park in the evening to head to your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater
The rich volcanic soil of the Ngorongoro Crater creates diverse habitats, making it possible to see the Big Five in one day. Inside the park, Lake Makat, or Soda Lake, is a sanctuary for many species.
The park is also known for its many Masai families living in circular bomas. It’s a key spot for those interested in human evolution, thanks to the work of the Leakey family.
You can see a variety of animals here, including lions, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, gazelles, jackals, foxes, and wild dogs. Elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and giraffes are less commonly seen near the crater rim.
In the evening, you will be taken to Arusha and dropped off at your accommodation.

You’ll start with a 40-minute walk to the waterfalls. Along the way, your guide will share insights about Chagga culture, village life, and local plants and animals. The views are beautiful, and with luck, you might see the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.
