A fantastic 5-day budget beach tour to Kenya’s Mombasa, one of the world’s best beach destinations with marine parks and rich history and culture. These 5 days beach tours are designed for rest and recreation with a few day excursions around Mombasa.

We will meet you at the SGR Nairobi terminus for the trip to Mombasa. You'll arrive here at least 2 hours before departure to allow for printing of your tickets. You will board the train and travel southeastwards to the coastal city of Mombasa. The train ride takes 4 hours and you will arrive at the Mombasa train station in the late morning.

You'll transfer to your Mombasa beach hotel like Pride Inn/ Neptune. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Mombasa beach hotel of your choice.

Wasini Island

On this day, you will depart after breakfast for the South Coast to swim and snorkel near Wasini Island. You will also track and follow dolphins from your boats as you snorkel in the coral gardens of the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Reserve. Later, you will enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch at the Wasini Island restaurant.

You'll have an optional visit to the Shimoni slave caves. You'll return to your North Coast Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mombasa Island Excursions

On the third day, you will depart your beach hotel for the Mombasa town walking tour. You'll arrive at the Fort Jesus and get a guided tour through this museum with a rich history. You will later walk through the Mombasa old port and old town to relive the old Mombasa life, architecture, history, and culture of the Swahili and Arab people.

You will visit the old market and Mama Ngina seafront. You'll enjoy a lunch in town and drive to the Haller Park in the afternoon. Haller Park is a reclaimed quarry turned into a wildlife park with animals such as buffalos, giraffes, hippos, and tortoises, among others.

You'll return to your Pride Inn Beach Resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mombasa Beach

You will spend the whole day at our beach hotel relaxing and winding down. You can choose any of the optional water sports at the hotel's front desk at your own cost. These activities include swimming, deep sea diving, sport fishing, jet skiing, windsurfing, pool games, glass-bottomed boat tours, and snorkeling among others.

Your lunch and dinner will be at Pride Inn Paradise Beach Resort.

You'll enjoy breakfast and a morning relaxation in the hotel with optional beach sports. In the afternoon, you will transfer to the Mombasa SGR train station for the ride back to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will have your own taxi arrangements for back home.
