Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel and driven to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third largest park and a haven for its impressive elephant population. The park is notable for its towering baobab trees, which dwarf the animals feeding beneath them. Wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River, the only permanent water source in the area, attracting a diverse range of animals including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. With over 300 bird species, it’s also a fantastic destination for birdwatching. In the evening, we'll head to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, where you'll embark on a game drive in search of both formidable predators and the herbivores they hunt. We'll stop for lunch at the Naabi Hill gate within the park. After lunch, we'll open the vehicle’s roof for an enhanced game drive as we head towards our campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Option: On the way to Serengeti, you’ll have the chance to visit up to four Maasai villages. If you're interested, we can arrange a visit for an additional cost, giving you an opportunity to experience Maasai culture firsthand.

After breakfast, continue your game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring the diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Later, return to Matawi Serengeti Camp for a delightful dinner and overnight stay. Enjoy the comfort of the camp while reflecting on the day's adventures in one of Tanzania's most iconic parks.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive across the short-grass plains and around Lake Magadi on the crater floor. This extinct volcano spans 100 square miles and teems with wildlife, including lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and hippos. With a bit of luck, you might spot the rare black rhino. After exploring the stunning landscapes of Ngorongoro, you'll ascend back to the top and head to the camp for an overnight stay.

We'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park in the Great Rift Valley. After enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the park’s vibrant birdlife, elephants, and hippos, we'll embark on an afternoon game drive. Later, we will return to Arusha, concluding our tour.
