Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel by our driver-guide, who will provide a brief orientation before heading to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. This park, situated along the Tarangire River, features low-lying hills within the Great Rift Valley, a landscape dominated by acacia woodlands and majestic African baobab trees, with expansive swamp areas to the south. During Tanzania’s dry season, the river and swamps become a hotspot for wildlife. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and is also home to three rare species: the greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx, and the ashy starling. After enjoying a picnic lunch, you'll continue exploring the park until late evening before heading to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti. Your itinerary will be adjusted based on the location of the migrating herds. Predators like lions, leopards (often spotted in acacia trees), and cheetahs typically trail the herds. During the short rainy season from November to December, the herds migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains. Conversely, during the longer rainy season from April to June, they move back north. Since the migration is influenced by annual rainfall, the herds' locations can vary each year. Rest assured, your guide will be knowledgeable about where to find the animals and will ensure you have the best viewing opportunities.

Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)
