Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by a representative from Kange Safaris, who will then drive you to your Hotel.

If you arrive early in the country, you could enjoy some interesting activities like a half-day trip to Mabamba Swamp to meet the rare shoe bill, a boat transfer to the Chimpanzee sanctuary on Ngamba Island, a guided bicycle tour of Entebbe or a day city tour of Kampala.

Day 2

Today you will embark on a journey to Murchison Falls National Park - northwest of Kampala.
Along the way, you will make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a chance to track white rhinos and other wildlife on foot.

This is the only place you can see rhinos in Uganda's wilderness.
After Ziwa, you will have lunch and continue the rest of the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying the views of the countryside, driving past the roadside markets, local small businesses, trading centres and beautiful scenery. Upon entering the park, you will visit the top of the Falls, where you will be awed by its magnificence. Feel the splashes cool down your body on a hot day when you stand at different points at the Balers' summit to see how the river squeezes itself through a narrow gauge creating these thunderous falls.

You will enjoy a game drive as you continue to your Lodge where you will relax and unwind for the rest of the evening.

Day 3

Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls

After an early morning breakfast, you will start your drive in the search for Lions, elephants, Kobs, Rothschild, giraffes, Jackson hartebeest, antelopes, buffaloes, oribis, hyenas, leopards, waterbucks and a variety of savannah woodland birds.
After your game drive, you will return to the lodge to relax, freshen up and have lunch.

You will then go for the afternoon boat cruise on the Nile. The boat will take you to the bottom of Murchison Falls and along the way, you will see big herds of hippos and big schools of Nile crocodiles. The boat cruise is ideal for seeing many animals such as elephants, antelopes, buffalos and birds that line the riverbank. On reaching the bottom of the falls, you will be able to personally take in the force of nature that the Nile is.

From the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for some downtime and relaxation before your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast and check-out, you'll embark on a scenic journey to Kibale National Park. The drive will take you through Uganda's picturesque countryside, featuring rolling hills, farms, villages, and small towns. You'll have the chance to assist locals in harvesting tea leaves at the tea estates.

Stop for lunch in Fort Portal town, and take a detour to the Toro Kingdom Palace, renowned for producing the world's youngest king in 1995. Listen to folktales and learn about this enduring monarchy.

Arrive in Kibale by evening, check into your hotel, and relax as you prepare for your chimpanzee-tracking adventure the following day.

Start your day with a warm breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters. Here, you'll receive a briefing on the chimpanzees you'll be tracking, then begin your hike into the forest. Kibale is home to chimpanzees and other primate species, along with various forest animals and birds. Upon reaching the chimps, you'll spend about an hour observing these intelligent primates.

After lunch, visit Bigodi to meet the local community, experience rural life and learn about their economic activities through visits to a school, a traditional healer, and Bigodi’s trading centre.

Return to your lodge for relaxation and to enjoy its amenities.

Agartha will share stories of her life as a Mukiga woman, as she demonstrates traditional practices such as sorting, pounding, willowing, and grinding millet to make bushera millet porridge, a staple for the Bakiga community. On this day, you will wake up very early for your breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters. You will have to be at the park offices by 7:00 am to attend the briefing about your gorilla tracking activity.

You will then join other visitors in a group of 8 and head into the forest in search for thes gentle giants. The gorilla trek takes you through the steep slopes and thick vegetation of Bwindi Impenetrable.
When you reach the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them and get to see them interact with each other, eat, and play around.
After the time with gorillas, you will return to the starting point and receive your gorilla tracking certificate.
Return to the lodge to relax, enjoy a complimentary massage, and let the gorilla experience sink in.

In the evening, you will go for a community encounter with the Batwa/pygmies, who were also the early forest dwellers and through storytelling, demonstrations and singing, you will learn about their unique culture and survival.

On this day, you will depart Bwindi for a scenic drive through terraced hills dotted with farms and villages to Lake Bunyonyi which is a popular relaxation destination after gorilla Trekking.

You will enjoy a boat ride to the various islands of the lake as your guide tells you about the Islands and the people of Lake Bunyonyi. The lake's waters are bilharzia-free and very safe for swimming.

Spend the rest of the day enjoying Lake Bunyonyi with either a canoeing on the lake, walking around the island, or a community visit.

After an early breakfast, set out for an exciting wildlife encounter in Lake Mburo National Park. The game drive offers excellent opportunities to see the park's renowned zebras, along with giraffes, antelopes, elands, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, warthogs, and many other fascinating animals. You can choose to explore the park on horseback, by bicycle, or in a vehicle, all while being safely escorted by an armed ranger guide.
