Tarangire National Park - Karatu

On this day, you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Home to a remarkably large elephant community, the park also boasts an intriguing array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the sole permanent water source in the region, serves as a focal point for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as a population of up to six hundred elephants. Following your explorations, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Mto Wa Mbu bike tour and local lunch - Arusha

Today will commence with a leisurely beginning as you embark on a short journey to the Mto wa Mbu village. Here, you will be greeted by a local guide who will lead you on a captivating 2 to 3-hour bicycle excursion through the town and community. Immerse yourself in the rich culture, interact with the locals, gain insight into their traditional way of life, and witness the intriguing process of brewing banana beer. Following this enriching experience, you will savor a delectable local lunch. As the day unfolds, you will proceed with your transfer to Arusha or the airport.
