Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the lively markets or simply settle in and prepare for the upcoming safari. Your overnight stay in Arusha will ensure that you are well-rested and ready for the exciting days ahead.

On this day, you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Home to a remarkably large elephant community, the park also boasts an intriguing array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the sole permanent water source in the region, serves as a focal point for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as a population of up to six hundred elephants. Following your explorations, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Subsequently, we will travel to Central Serengeti for your accommodation for the night.

Day 6
Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

The prominent feature of Lake Manyara National Park is a shallow alkaline lake situated at the foothills of the Rift Valley escarpment. It is renowned for its lions that are known for climbing trees and the extensive herds of elephants that inhabit the area. Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted by a lush groundwater forest, resembling a jungle, which serves as the habitat for a large population of olive baboons and blue monkeys. Additionally, an exhilarating treetop walkway, spanning 370m (1,200ft), provides a captivating aerial perspective of this distinctive environment. After the game drive we will drive to Arusha (or Kilimanjaro airport if you'll fly out).
