Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport early in the morning, our dedicated team will be there to meet and greet you, assist with customs clearance, and provide a briefing about the tour. If you are already in Kigali, you will meet our guide and begin the journey to Uganda, crossing via the Cyanika border. The drive takes approximately four hours, so it is essential to set off early to allow time for rest before the next day’s activities. Although the journey is long, it is filled with beautiful and eventful scenery, offering glimpses of the picturesque countryside and landscapes of both Uganda and Rwanda.
Lunch will be eaten along the way. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a canoe ride and island hopping, where you can observe local fishermen at work. You may also visit the historic Punishment Island. Other optional activities around the lake include swimming, nature walks, cultural visits, or simply relaxing. The evening is at your leisure, followed by dinner and rest.

Lake Bunyonyi - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with a relaxed breakfast before heading out for a short visit to the Batwa community. The Batwa, a local Pygmy group, reside on a hilltop near Lake Bunyonyi. Begin with a tranquil boat trip and a brief hike (about 20 minutes) to reach their village. The Batwa will welcome you warmly and share insights into their traditional way of life, including a cultural dance performance. You can also explore their craft shops and purchase some souvenirs.
After your visit, check out and embark on a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is renowned for its diverse wildlife. The park is famous for the tree-climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector, located in the southern area of the park. Enjoy lunch en route, if time permits.
Upon arrival at the park, you’ll enjoy an evening game drive. When you reach your lodge or hotel, you’ll receive a warm welcome and check-in. Relax and take advantage of the amenities during your leisure time. Later, enjoy dinner and rest.

Today, you'll start with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the drive, you'll search for wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and various bird species.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which is known for hosting the world's largest population of hippos. Along the way, you may also spot Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and kobs drinking at the water's edge.
After the cruise, return to the lodge for a relaxed evening before dinner. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

Queen Elizabeth National Park- Kigali
Today offers another exceptional primate experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After a hearty breakfast, prepare for chimpanzee trekking in the renowned Kyambura Gorge. Chimpanzee trekking is available year-round, and the vast gorge attracts various mammals and small primates, including red-tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys. Baboons are also frequently spotted in the gorge. The area is rich in wildlife, with the possibility of seeing birds, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes.
The trek can range from 30 minutes to four hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees, as they move frequently in search of food, particularly during drier seasons.
After your trek, transfer to Kigali. If time permits, enjoy some shopping in Kigali before your departure.
