Pick up at your hotel right after breakfast. On this day, you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Home to a remarkably large elephant community, the park also boasts an intriguing array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the sole permanent water source in the region, serves as a focal point for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as a population of up to six hundred elephants. Following your explorations, you will drive to the lodge in Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will make our way to the illustrious Ngorongoro Crater, a distinguished UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its abundant wildlife. Descending into the crater, you will embark on a captivating full-day game drive, immersing yourself in the awe-inspiring landscapes and encountering the famed Big Five, alongside a myriad of other captivating wildlife species. Subsequently, we will travel to Central Serengeti for your accommodation for the night.

Today's journey through the Serengeti will unveil a tapestry of diverse ecosystems, from dense woodlands to vast plains, providing a sanctuary for a multitude of creatures - some wandering, some leaping, some soaring, and others crawling. Within the Serengeti National Park lies a habitat for Africa's renowned Big Five, offering prime opportunities to witness lions lounging lazily in the shade, pouncing on elusive prey, or fiercely defending their hard-earned catch.

After breakfast, you will embark on a delightful half-day game drive expedition in the Serengeti. Take in the wonders of the majestic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes as you explore this renowned national park. Following this immersive experience, we will begin our journey back to Karatu, a picturesque town, which will take approximately four hours of scenic driving. Sit back, relax, and relish the captivating sights along the way.

Day 5
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The prominent feature of Lake Manyara National Park is a shallow alkaline lake situated at the foothills of the Rift Valley escarpment. It is renowned for its lions that are known for climbing trees and the extensive herds of elephants that inhabit the area.
Upon entering the park, visitors are greeted by a lush groundwater forest, resembling a jungle, which serves as the habitat for a large population of olive baboons and blue monkeys. Additionally, an exhilarating treetop walkway, spanning 370m (1,200ft), provides a captivating aerial perspective of this distinctive environment.
After the game drive we will drive to Arusha (or Kilimanjaro airport if you'll fly out) where services ends.
