Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

You’ll be picked up early from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for your morning flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, your private safari guide will greet you and brief you about your safari.

Drive to Tarangire National Park (about 2.5 hours), where the adventure begins. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and spend the afternoon exploring various parts of Tarangire with your guide, who will help you spot rare species and capture stunning photos.

In the late afternoon, proceed to Karatu town for dinner and overnight at your comfortable midrange lodge — Farm of dreams / Eileen’s Trees Inn

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the best place in Africa to spot the Big Five in a single day.
Enjoy a full game drive on the crater floor, encountering lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and many more species — all surrounded by stunning landscapes.

After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, start your drive back to Arusha for your flight back to Zanzibar, arriving in the evening.
