Pickup from Hotel (Arusha) to Tarangire

Early in the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha to begin your safari to Tarangire National Park. Here, you'll embark on a game drive, where you can marvel at the park’s impressive herds of elephants, some of which are among the largest in the region, and the striking Baobab trees. In the late afternoon, you'll depart the park and head to Karatu, where you'll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.

Serengeti Plains

Today, you'll journey to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you'll stop at the Crater Viewpoint for a breathtaking sight of the Ngorongoro Crater. Afterward, you'll proceed to Serengeti National Park, entering the park for a short game drive before pausing for a lunch break. Following lunch, you'll continue exploring Central Serengeti with another game drive. In the late afternoon, you'll head to your Kontiki Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti Game Drives

In the morning, after breakfast, you'll embark on a game drive searching for wildlife. The Serengeti is vast, and you'll primarily explore the central region, which is home to large numbers of resident animals. In the right season, you may even witness the Great Wildebeest Migration around central Serengeti. In the afternoon, you'll stop for lunch at a picnic spot before continuing your game drive until early evening. You'll then return to Kontiki Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Highlands to Arusha

After breakfast, you'll depart from your camp and head east towards Ngorongoro. Upon entering the Ngorongoro Highlands, you'll explore the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before your permit expires. If interested, you can opt to descend into the Crater (optional and at extra cost). Afterward, you'll leave the park and drive back to Arusha, where you'll find.
