You'll arrive in South Africa at one of the main airports —OR Tambo in Johannesburg. You will be met by friendly and professional staff to assist you through customs and take you to the domestic terminal where you will fly to Skukuza Airport.
You can view the landscape from above and get ready for a great adventure and experience. Arriving at Skukuza, transport will be ready to take you to the lodge in Sabi Sands. While you watch your environment, make sure you see some animals and look out for the big ones —that is why you are here.
Arriving at Selati Lodge —where the suites are all named after bygone railway stations and decorated with authentic memorabilia sourced from rail museums and antique stores —you will meet friendly staff, get some refreshments, check-in and be accompanied to your luxury suite. You'll unpack, unwind, and relax while you observe the environment.
The late afternoon safari game drive will be the highlight of day one.

You'll wake up and get ready for the exciting day waiting for you. Early bush coffee or hot chocolate and armed with your camera you are ready for the first safari game drive. You will experience the nocturnal animals going back to their hides and the routine of the wildlife. You'll enjoy the untamed thrill of getting up close to animals big and small and appreciate nature’s miracles. You'll experience nature and understand more about yourself and the wild.
You'll go back to the lodge. A hearty South African breakfast is waiting, and for the rest of the day, you can linger, walk around, relax by the swimming pool, or have a great massage at the spa.
Lunch either by the lodge or a picnic while you explore the bush as a team on foot. You'll witness creatures and details that would otherwise be missed and smell nature's flavors.
Sunset refreshments will be on the open 4x4 vehicle on another game drive and you will see and explore more.
You'll have dinner with friends and open fires.

Experience More Creatures
Another perfect day is waiting for you and our location on a central plain between two rivers means that this reserve is home to different habitats that attract a wide variety of wildlife and birds.
After a healthy and warm breakfast, you are on your way to interact with our other great animals like the Kingfisher, Vultures, and giraffes. Vultures are the "cleaners" of the environment and make it a healthier place by getting rid of carcasses. Take note of the Kingfisher's aerodynamic build and make sure you catch that unique sound.
Do some optional guided walks with armed guides and learn more about the conservation program and nature.
After lunch, you will relax and get ready for the night drive where you will see the nocturnal animals hunting, and the suspense and delight of the bush at night as the predators hunt. The bush is a different world after dark and listen to every rustle, howl, and call.
You will feel alive under the twinkling stars of the African night sky.

After an exciting night and you still dream about everything you experienced last night you do your last early morning game drive— just in case you missed something the previous three days.
You will have a great breakfast after the game drive and get ready where transport will take you to the domestic airport and you fly back to Johannesburg. You will do the last snapshots from above, plan your next trip with us, and file all those memories.
