Arusha - Tarangire National Park

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or from the airport and then drive for approximately three hours to Tarangire National Park. Once there, you'll embark on a full-day game drive, with a hot lunch served within the park. In the evening, you'll head to lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive herds of up to 300 elephants, which can be seen foraging in the dry riverbeds. The park is also a haven for a variety of wildlife, including zebra, buffalo, impala, and gazelle, all congregating around dwindling water sources. With its rich concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities for predator sightings. Unique to this park, you can spot dry-country antelope like the stately fringe-eared oryx and the peculiar long-necked gerenuk. Tarangire also serves as a crucial refuge for migrating species during the dry season, making it a dynamic and vibrant part of Tanzania's wildlife landscape.

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

After waking up this morning, you will enjoy a full breakfast, pack your luggage in the safari jeep, and then embark on an en-route game drive to Serengeti with your picnic lunch in hand. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to view the beautiful Rift Valley, including the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. You are expected to reach Serengeti at around 3:00pm.

Once you arrive, you will take an evening game drive in Central Serengeti, where you can witness the breathtaking sunset. Afterward, you'll have dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

The major attractions in Serengeti are its endless plains and the Great Migration, which involves 1.5 million herbivores and the predators that follow them. The wildebeest move from one area to another throughout the Serengeti in search of water and grazing, driven by the changing seasons. Our driver-guide will ensure you have the chance to see part of this incredible migration.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Breakfast will be served at around 6:00am. You will then have a morning game drive inside the Serengeti with a packed lunch. You can expect to see lions, wildebeests, leopards, impalas, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, and many more. In the late afternoon, you will drive to Ngorongoro and enjoy a three-hour en-route game drive.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a campsite on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

You’ll start your day with a 5:30am breakfast before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, you’ll have the chance to see all the “Big Five,” along with various bird species and the elusive black rhino. During the day, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater, taking in the natural beauty and high concentrations of flamingos.

After a six-to-seven-hour game drive exploring the crater, you’ll begin your ascent back to the rim. On your way, you'll stop by the campsite to collect your luggage and prepare for the journey back to Arusha for your overnight stay or to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for your onward departure.
