Arrival at Awash National Park

After arrival at Bole International Airport, you will have breakfast in Addis at place of convenience and then drive
to Awash NP which is located in The Great Rift Valley region. You will enjoy scenic drive on your way and marvel at the picturesque landscapes along the journey. You will be met with your experienced safari guide and receive a briefing on the day's itinerary and safety guidelines. In the afternoon, you begin your safari adventure with an afternoon game drive through the park's diverse habitats. Sightings of plains wildlife such as zebra, oryx, kudu, gazelle, and the endangered Swayne's hartebeest can be captured.

Full-Day Safari Adventure

You will rise early for a sunrise game drive and witness the awakening of the park's wildlife as the sun bathes the landscape in golden hues.
- Search for elusive predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas as they begin their morning hunt. At mid-day, we will return to accommodation for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy Nature Walk and Birdwatching.
- You will embark on an exhilarating night safari adventure, where you'll have the chance to spot nocturnal wildlife such as genets, civets, and bus babies. Then return to camp for dinner and share stories of your safari experiences around the campfire before retiring to your comfortable accommodations.

Departure and Cultural Experience

After breakfast, you will visit the spectacular Awash River Falls and marvel at the thundering cascades as the river plunges into the gorge below.
Then you will explore the surrounding area and enjoy some birdwatching opportunities along the riverbanks. At mid-day, you will visit a local village near Awash National Park and immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of the indigenous communities and interact with locals, learn about their way of life. In the afternoon, you will bid farewell to Awash National Park and begin your journey back to Addis Ababa, filled with unforgettable memories of your safari adventure.
You will arrive in Addis Ababa in the evening, concluding your 3-day safari trip to Awash National Park.
