Welcome to Tanzania, Today your safari adventure begins with KeRata Wild Safaris, you will be picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) Or Arusha Airport (ARK) and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s third largest National park, it is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, kudu, buffalo, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 2

On the second day of your safari, you will have an early start. Starting up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a vast, unbroken caldera located in northern Tanzania. Formed over two million years ago from a collapsed volcano, it spans about 260 square kilometers with a depth of 600 meters. The Crater is renowned for its dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). Its varied ecosystems, from savannah to forests and a central soda lake, support over 25,000 large animals and a rich birdlife. The Crater offers unparalleled game viewing opportunities in a stunning natural setting. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater and return to the Hotel where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 3

Lake Manyara

On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start with a quick breakfast. After breakfast you will start the safari at Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara NP is a diverse and picturesque reserve known for its striking landscapes and abundant wildlife. Covering approximately 330 square kilometers, the park features a shallow, alkaline lake that attracts a wide array of bird species, including thousands of flamingos. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and diverse habitats ranging from dense woodlands and grassy plains to hot springs. Lake Manyara provides excellent game viewing and birdwatching opportunities, set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Break for a picnic lunch amidst nature before continuing your adventure. After the adventure, you will return to Arusha in the late afternoon, enriched by the rich wildlife of Lake Manyara. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in Arusha/Airport.
