Tarangire

On this day, your safari adventure begins! You will be picked up at your hotel/lodge in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. After the game drive you will be taken to your Hotel where a delicious dinner awaits.

Ngorongoro Crater

On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Starting up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a vast, unbroken caldera located in northern Tanzania. Formed over two million years ago from a collapsed volcano, it spans about 260 square kilometers with a depth of 600 meters. The Crater is renowned for its dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). Its varied ecosystems, from savannah to forests and a central soda lake, support over 25,000 large animals and a rich birdlife. The Crater offers unparalleled game viewing opportunities in a stunning natural setting.
This is the last leg of your safari, driving back to Arusha. You will be dropped off to your preferred location in Arusha/Airport in the evening. This is the time you bid goodbye to our team and cherish the memories of your exciting safari adventure.
