Welcome to Maun! You will arrive at Maun Airport, where you will be met by our representative and assisted to the domestic lounge. Then, take the scheduled flight to the airstrip and transfer to the lodge.
You’ll find Nokanyana on the bank of the Khwai River, nestled in the lush bush overlooking a large flood plain frequented by Africa’s wildlife. From your room, you can watch elephants, antelopes, and giraffes.

Enjoy Game Viewing
You can enjoy 2 full days of game viewing in the area. You have a choice of 2 different experiences; go on morning and afternoon game drives, a cultural visit, a bush walk, and a nature walk; otherwise, opt for the full-day game drive in the Khwai area.
Nokanyana is situated at the confluence of the Khwai and Mababe Rivers. It is an area of mixed vegetation, open plains, riverine forest, and the Hippo Pool, a favourite sundowner spot. On a visit to nearby Mababe Village, learn how the community and wildlife live side by side. With only 10 rooms, Nokanyana has a very intimate and laid-back feel, perfect for relaxing with family and friends.

Fly to a Water Camp
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip on time for your flight to Mopiri. With year-round water access, Mopiri is the perfect location from which to explore the unique Okavango Delta ecosystem. Pole along secluded waterways in the heart of the Okavango Delta, only accessible by mokoro (a traditional dug-out canoe). There are no set itineraries at Mopiri. Managers and guides will help you plan your days according to what you feel like doing.
Mopiri is surrounded by crystal-clear delta water on all sides. Depending on when you stay, you may see hippopotamuses, elephants, and sitatungas in their natural habitat.

Game Viewing and Possible Fishing
Enjoy a day of game viewing. Wake up early or start later as you enjoy breakfast at the lodge.
Over 350 bird species can be found in the delta, including regular sightings of Pel’s fishing owl, slaty egret, and African skimmer. Mopiri is a prime destination for lure fishing (available from March to December).

Fly Back to Maun
This is your last morning of game viewing or relaxing at the lodge. Then, you will be transferred to the airstrip on time for the scheduled flight back to Maun.
You can spend time at leisure at the airport until your flight out or chat with us to extend your safari. For example, you could fly to the Kalahari, Makgadikgadi Pans or Victoria Falls.
