Arrival and Exploration
A day before your safari, a meet and greet will be done where a full in-person briefing will be given and any requests/queries shall be attended to.
Morning
You will be picked up from your lodge by your guide in the morning. You'll embark on a 160 km journey on a tarmac to the Nxai Pans National Park entrance. You'll stop along the way for a packed breakfast. Upon entering the reserve, you will do a very slow game drive toward your designated wilderness camping site.
Midday
You'll make a stopover for a packed lunch inside the park. Thereafter, you'll drive to the camping site and you will settle. You'll go for a short sundowner drive.
Dinner is served in camp.

Day 2

Early Morning
You'll wake up early and embark on a morning drive to spot different wildlife species found in Nxai pans as well as be mesmerized by the beautiful landscapes of the pans. You will have a stopover for a cup of coffee/tea and Rusks at Baines Baobab. You'll get back to camp and have a full breakfast.
Midday
After breakfast, you can grab a book and read under the shade or go to your tent for a nap.
Lunch will be served in camp. Thereafter, you will have enough time to relax before going for an afternoon game drive.
Afternoon
You'll explore more on the afternoon game drive. You will stop along the way for a sundowner. You will be served a warm dinner at the camp. After dinner, you can sit around the fire with our staff to share experiences on nature, history, and culture.

Day 3
Makgadikgadi Pans National Park

Morning
You'll wake up early for coffee, tea, juice, cereals, and fruits. After a quick breakfast, you'll embark on a journey from Nxai Pans National Park to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. The drive takes 4-5 hours, with the first 2 hours being a slow game drive out of Nxai. A packed breakfast will be enjoyed en route.
Midday
After a 30-minute drive from the Nxai Pans Gate to the Makgadikgadi Gate, you'll enjoy another 2-hour game drive to the camp. Along the way, you'll have a stopover for a packed lunch.
Afternoon
Upon arrival, you'll settle in and freshen up before heading out for a sundowner drive. You'll end the day with a warm dinner at camp, followed by relaxing around the fire or going to bed.

You'll wake up early. You'll start the day with a 3-4 hour morning game drive along the Boteti River, depending on wildlife sightings. You'll return to camp for breakfast.
Midday
Afterward, you'll relax with a book, take a nap, or unwind in the shade while listening to the sounds of nature. You'll enjoy lunch at the camp, then freshen up before heading out for the afternoon game drive.
Afternoon
You'll enjoy your afternoon game drive. Afterward, dinner will be served at camp. You'll end the day by sharing experiences and stories with the staff and your guide.

Day 5
Explore the Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Explore the Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Prepare to be amazed by the stunning landscapes and diverse species thriving in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. As you traverse the reserve, you may encounter rare bat-eared foxes trotting across the open pans, ground squirrels busy with their daily activities, and herds of springboks or gemsboks grazing in the open plains. These herbivores attract predators, so keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and smaller carnivores like black-backed jackals searching for rodents and bird eggs.
You'll start your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a 4-5 hour drive to Matswere Gate (CKGR).
Upon entering the reserve, you'll enjoy a slow game drive toward the wilderness camping site. You'll have a stop for a packed lunch before reaching the camp.
Once at the camp, you'll freshen up and head out for a short game drive before dinner.

Day 6
Explore the Home of the Black-Maned Lions
Explore the Home of the Black-Maned Lions
On this day, you'll have the opportunity to explore the habitat of the black-maned lions, visiting Deception Pan, Leopard Pan, and Sunday Water Hole on a day excursion.
You'll start with an early wake. You'll then embark on a morning drive around Deception Pan before heading to Leopard Pan, where you'll stop for a packed breakfast. You'll continue with a drive around Leopard Pan, then proceed to Sunday Water Hole.
After leaving Sunday Hole, you'll stop for a packed lunch and enjoy a slow afternoon drive back towards Deception Pan.
You'll conclude the day's activities with a drive around Deception before returning to camp for dinner. After dinner, gather around the fire with our team and your guide to reflect on the tour and share experiences about nature, history, and culture before going to bed.

Return to Maun
Return to Maun
On this last day of the tour, you will wake up in the morning and be served a full breakfast.
You'll embark on a 7-hour drive back to Maun.
You will stop for a packed lunch somewhere along the way.
On arrival at Maun, you will be taken to your lodge/ hotel or do airport transfers on the agreed date and time. End of tour.
