On this day, you will embark on an adventure in Tarangire, a vast and diverse national park in Tanzania. Home to a remarkably large elephant community, the park also boasts an intriguing array of majestic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, the sole permanent water source in the region, serves as a focal point for a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as a population of up to six hundred elephants. Spend the night within the park.

Day 3

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara

Embark on an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park followed by a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park flaunts a shallow alkaline lake set against the beautiful backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment. Visitors can expect to spot the rare tree-climbing lions and vast herds of elephants roaming the area. En route, entering the park, you will encounter a lush groundwater forest revealing a jungle-like habitat for huge populations of olive baboons and blue monkeys. Don't miss out on the 370m (1,200 ft) long treetop walkway offering panoramic aerial views of this fascinating environment. After an eventful day, retire to your accommodation in Karatu for the night.
