3-Day Tsavo East and Tsavo West Safari from Mombasa

Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Pick up and depart from your Mombasa hotel/Airport early in the morning by 06;00hrs and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road to the Tsavo East National Park. Enter the park via Bachuma gate. Game drive after entry in search of the big five. Visit the famous Aruba dam where lots of wildlife can be seen. Later drive to your lodge /tented camp for check-in & lunch.
An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled later in the day. This relaxed game viewing drive shall take us through big game trails for best experience. Enjoy magnificent views of the African sunset from the jungle. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge /camp.

Tsavo East National Park to Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge with an en-route game drive as you head to Tsavo West National Park. On arrival, you will have an en-route game drive as you head to your accommodation for lunch and a short rest. You will then head to the park in the afternoon for an afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you will be able to enjoy the scenic landscape and spot a number of animals such as leopards, elephants, lions, warthogs, dik-dik, rhinos and several bird species. In the evening you will be driven back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West National Park to Mombasa

We’ll be up before the early bird to experience a game viewing drive before sunrise. It’s at this time when nature is at its best with the predators out for the hunt and the grazers browsing the soft, dewy vegetation as sun-ray colors dominate the scenic volcanic terrain. Return to our lodge/camp for breakfast followed by check out and drive back to Mombasa with a brief stopover at Voi maybe for lunch (own cost).

Arrive in Mombasa late in the afternoon. We’ll drop you back to your hotel, airport, residence or Mombasa port.
