Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park

Depart from your hotel early in the morning for a 5-hour drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway towards the Tsavo West National Park. With a scheduled stop on the way, we arrive at the park through the Tsavo River gate. The game drive commences immediately after entry in search of the Big Five in this vast and beautiful national park en route to your lodge or camp for lunch. After check-in and lunch, a short rest follows before venturing out for an afternoon game drive. We will be looking out for lions and the elusive leopards, along with elephants, gazelles, and a variety of birds.

We return to our lodge by sunset for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West to Mombasa

Have an early morning game drive to capture predator activities at dawn. You will enjoy a magnificent sunrise through the beautiful scenery of roaring hills and towering escarpments. This drive will also take you to the Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water is collected through underground streams of Mount Kilimanjaro. This is an important biodiversity area that supports life not only in Tsavo but also in the larger coastal area, since it is the main water supply for Mombasa.

You will return to the lodge for breakfast with an en-route game drive. In mid-morning, you will drive back to Mombasa, arriving in the evening.
