Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park

Depart from your hotel early in the morning for a 5-hour drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway towards the Tsavo West National Park. With a scheduled stop on the way, we arrive at the park through the Tsavo River gate. Game drive commences immediately after entry in search of the Big five in this vast and beautiful national park en-route to your lodge or camp for lunch. After check in and lunch, a short rest follows before venturing out for an afternoon game drive, we will be looking out for the lions and the elusive leopard together with several elephants, Gazelles and a variety of birds.

We return to our lodge by sunset for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West to Mombasa

Early morning game drive to capture predator activities at dawn, enjoy a magnificent sunrise through beautiful scenery of roaring hills and towering escarpments, this drive will also take you to the Mzima springs where crystal clear water has collected through underground streams fed by Mt. Kilimanjaro, this is an important biodiversity area that supports life not only in Tsavo but also in the larger coastal area since it is the main water supply for Mombasa.

Return to lodge for breakfast with an en route game drive. At midmorning load up for a drive back to Mombasa arriving in the evening.
