Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National park

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National park

You will be picked up in the morning from the airport or your hotel and depart from Nairobi. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park with an en-route game drive to the lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will check in, enjoy a scrumptious lunch and have a short rest before going for your afternoon game drive in the park.

The park is home to warthog, waterbuck, buffalo, reedbuck, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhinos at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as a birder's delight with many species of birds found here.

In the evening you will back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, it is time to set off for a full-day game drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its "residents". It is best known for its wildebeest migration which is seasonal between July, August, and September. If lucky, you will see all of the Big Five animals; if not, at least 2 of them! The reserve is home to a variety of bird species, which is a magnificent sight. You'll have a picnic lunch, and later, dinner and an overnight stay at the camp/lodge.

The Great Masai Mara Full Adventure

You can have an optional early morning balloon safari at an extra cost. This provides the ultimate panorama of the world's most spectacular animal migration.

After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch. You spend a full day game viewing and visiting the Mara River, where many animals are concentrated. You will have your picnic lunch as you watch the crocodiles, hippos, and other animals in the water. All meals and overnight are at the camp.

Day 4

Masai Mara - Serengeti National Park

You will have an early game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve. Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast and a picnic lunch, and then depart to Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border. Serengeti means "endless plain" in Maa, the tongue of the Maasai. You will reach Serengeti by late evening.

The Serengeti National Park is the largest in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs and mountains. Here, the biggest wildebeest and zebra migration takes place, and depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals in their search for food and water. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to Serengeti Serena safari lodge to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

After Breakfast proceed for a full day Game drive with picnic lunch.
Around two-thirds of the park is home to the above-mentioned animal species. Furthermore, the park is home to many other animal species, such as giraffe, buffalo, hyena, elephant and crocodile. The population of feline predators is particularly large; about 3,000 lions, 300 cheetahs, and an estimated 400 to 700 leopards have their hunting grounds here

Day 6

Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, you will descend over 600m into the crater to view wildlife for a half-day safari tour. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Many flamingos, hippos and other waterbirds can be seen here. After lunch, we will ascend from the crater and head to the lodge for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, descend 600 meters into this magnificent crater for a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's most densely crowded African wildlife areas and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and the giant African elephant. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater.

Giant baobab trees, bush savannahs, and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The Tarangire National Park is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then, but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals.

On this day, we suggest a very early wake-up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. It's really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. After the game drive, we will return to the camp for a rewarding brunch. Afterward, we'll proceed to Nairobi via Namanga border /you will be driven to Arusha airport for your journey back home.
